Throughout the lockdown - we have tried to keep you updated on our Facebook Page Creating Memories.
These have been such challenging and times, with weddings and renewal of vows ceremonies postponed to new dates and sadly so many lives lost and the challenges facing families trying to give their loved ones a "fitting" funeral during the pandemic restrictions.
Sadly we too, as a family are having to do just that as well, with the loss of my dearly loved mum-in-law.
We have tried to focus throughout this lockdown period on what "can" be achieved rather than adding to our grief with the sadness of what we "cannot" do.
We are so grateful for the love and support of you all as we too navigate through the fog of decisions that need to made as we grieve for our lovely Sylvia.
I dedicate this poem to her and to all your loved ones, with my "hand on my heart"
Life is a journey we all must take,
With some help along the way, A wife, a soulmate, a mother Who brightens up each day On our journey we’ll encounter Different paths along the way, We’ll love, we’ll learn, we’ll laugh and cry, But it's not a place to stay... The grief, the loss, and the love we feel Is a measure of their worth And life will never be the same again Without them on this earth The day shall come when we too, Will grace that other street And forever more rest easy Content and one at Peace
RIP Sylvia Green - Always loved, never forgotten, forever in our hearts xxx
